Bheri River Adventure - Nepal

The Bheri River flows west in Nepal before to its confluence with the Karnali River and offers a scenic journey as we navigate downstream by kayak and raft. With a great mix of remote wilderness and friendly villages along its path we get to experience both nature and its local cultures. The river grading is class 2-3+ and offers many fun rapids to explore for intermidiate paddlers but still engaging for the experienced.

The Bheri River 2/3+
The Bheri River offers one of the most scenic journeys through a variety of jungle clad foothills, golden cliffs and white beaches. There is an abundance of wild life, great birdwatching and fishing opportunities.  The river has a continuous flow so once can drift along taking in the scenery between the many raids along the way.

The river grading is class 2/ 3+ , similar in nature to the Trishuli River but with more variety and much more remote.  Although remote, particularly in the gorge sections, we paddle by a number of settlements where we will meet villagers who are often fishing or washing clothes in the river.

The river is in the west of Nepal and is reached either by road over 2 days or by an internal flight and a shorter road journey and can be complimented with a stay at the Bardiya National Park so a few options are available with this trip.

Kayaking:
This trip is perfect for the intermediate paddler looking for a relaxing yet engaging river journey  and will still keep the experienced on their game. Beginer kayakers will be more suited to one of our Kayak School trips

Rafting:

No Experience needed here, just to be comfortable swimming in moving water and happy to get wet!
