*more gentle than the big stuff
October 25th - November 9th

This trip offers an exciting opportunity to explore the welcoming Nepalese culture and the beautiful and remote wild nature of the western jungle. Our adventure begins on arrival in Kathmandu where we will take you on an exploration of the bustling city and its tourist attractions. We will navigate our way across the valleys along the ever developing road networks to our first river trip down the lower Seti. A gentle class 2 for the most part with great views of the Annapurna mountain range behind us. We then continue into the far western jungle to find the Seti Karnali River, a tributary of the mighty Karnali. This is perhaps the most remote, beautiful, and little-travelled stretch of water in Nepal that offers the same jungle wilderness and abundant wildlife as the infamous Lower Karnali but at a lesser difficulty and where we meet just a few local people who follow an unchanged lifestyle, naturally curious and friendly.
Whether you are relatively new to kayaking, an experienced paddler or even keen to join the adventure by raft, the gentle but continuous nature of these rivers makes them perfect for all. This trip is about the journey, getting immersed into nature together with our team, but also enjoying the non consequential rapids that we meander upon along the way.
With full raft support to carry all of our food and expedition equipment, we set up camp each night on the sandy river beaches.Taking in the sounds of nature, reflections and stories around the campfires and being present in the moment.
